AIMS Conference

2012 DoD International AIMS User Symposium in conjunction with IFF Mode 5 Cryptographic Modernization Stakeholders Working Group Meeting

It is our pleasure to announce the 2012 DoD International AIMS (A – Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System, I – Identification Friend or Foe, M – Mark XII/XIIA, S – Systems) Users Symposium. This year the Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Mode 5 Cryptographic Modernization Stakeholders Working Group will be holding their meeting in tandem with our User’s Symposium. The DoD International AIMS Program Office and the IFF Mode 5 Cryptographic Modernization Stakeholders Working Group took a bold step to hold these separate meetings concurrently and, as a result, we hope bringing these two communities together will establish a common forum to benefit all parties.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with FAA (Federal Activation Administration), NSA (National Security Agency), NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) plus many different platform programs. In conjunction, there will be a vendor exhibition displaying hardware and available information on current and future equipment, users, and vendors.
